MPs pay tribute to Sir David Amess MP on 3rd anniversary of his murder

Several MPs have paid tribute to Sir David Amess MP on the third anniversary of his murder.

Today marks three years since the murder of Sir David Amess MP by an Islamist terrorist.

David was a tireless champion of Southend and the very embodiment of a Parliamentarian.

His warmth and kindness will never be forgotten.

Today we remember our friend Sir David Amess, who was taken from us in 2021.

David will always be remembered for his public service, kindness, and love of Southend.

We think of his family, friends and all those who knew David on this sad day.
