Maggie Throup's statement following the news that the Reform Candidate has suspended his campaign & is instead backing her to continue as the Member of Parliament here in Erewash:
I am delighted that Liam, the Reform candidate for Erewash, has chosen to suspend his campaign and endorse me, and I thank him for his huge vote of confidence.
He has taken the brave step to make a stand against some of the serious issues we have seen within certain elements of the Reform Party, and I commend him for this.
As Liam has rightfully highlighted, only a vote for the Conservatives can stop the dangers of Labour, both here in Erewash and across the UK.
