Robert Jenrick MP has posted to X announcing that he will fight the new sentencing guidelines in the courts. Mr Jenrick said: "We will fight tooth and nail against two-tier Keir".
This followings new guidelines by the Sentencing Council which means prison sentences will be less likely for ‘ethnic minorities’ and ‘faith minority communities’. Mr Jenrick has previously said that this move will create a two tier justice system.
Mr Jenrick also posted a statement:
I will be challenging this sentencing guidance in the courts on the grounds it enshrines anti-white and anti-Christian bias into our criminal justice system.
And if Labour won't amend the law to prevent this, the Conservatives will. There are few more important principles than equality under the law - we will fight tooth and nail to defend it.
