If there's one article you should read this weekend I would sincerely recommend you make it Allison Pearson's fantastic piece in The Telegraph on the imprisonment of political prisoner Lucy Connolly.
Lucy Connolly was one of the 1,500-plus people arrested in connection with the social unrest which followed the July 29th Southport massacre of three little girls. Ms Connolly posted a tweet on the day when Elsie Dot Stancombe, Bebe King and Alice da Silva Aguiar were murdered by Axel Rudakubana. Ms Connolly was arrested eight days later, and charged under Section 19 of the Public Order Act 1986, with publishing material intending to stir up racial hatred.
In follow up posts on X Ms Pearson doesn't hold back. She even questions Keir Starmer and says he "disgusts her".

Lucy’s daughter is spiralling, husband has blood cancer. Yet they won’t give Lucy the leave she’s been entitled to since November.
