Nick Eardley from the BBC spent the morning on the "red carpet" at the European Political Community summit.
Mr Eardley reported earlier that he had spoken to French President Emmanuel Macron and Ireland's Taoiseach Simon Harris.
Mr Eardley reported that Emmanuel Macron had told him there was no "silver bullet" when it comes to tackling small boats crossing the channel.
Simon Harris said he was delighted by Keir Starmer's approach to Europe.
