Tonight's Chelmsford meeting with PFCC Roger Hirst has been POSTPONED.
Roger Hirst is involved in a spat with Allison Pearson who is being investigated over a tweet/post made a year ago.
You can read Allison Pearson's version of events on The Telegraph.
Ms Pearson posted to X earlier today:
Anyone who feels strongly that police should be solving crimes not tweets could attend tonight’s meeting with Roger Hirst.
Mr Hirst said in an interview I have committed a crime before I know what the crime is and before any charges have been brought.
Soviet Britain.

The PFCC website has the following statement regarding the postponement of the meeting:
In the interests of public safety, the PFCC is deeply disappointed to announce that tonight’s PFCC Public Meeting for Chelmsford is postponed.
We are acting on advice that a large number of people from outside the county are expected to attend tonight, a number which would far exceed the capacity of the venue booked for the meeting.
The PFCC will seek to re-arrange this meeting as soon as practically possible.
We have tried to contact as many local groups as possible who would be attending and have informed them of our commitment to reorganise this meeting.
