Ben Habib on Two Tier Justice - Keir Starmer is the most dangerous PM we have ever had [New sentencing guidelines]

March 5th, 2025

Ben Habib has posted to X in response to new sentencing guidelines which mean that prison sentences will be less likely for ‘ethnic minorities’ and ‘faith minority communities’ - creating a two tier justice system.

These are new sentencing guidelines to be used from April 1st 2025.

Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood posted earlier that "There will never be a two tier sentencing approach under this Labour Government".

But, here it is in print.

This is the end of British justice. A system with prejudice baked into it.

@Keir_Starmer is the most dangerous PM we have ever had.

Never trust him on anything.

-- Ben Habib, March 5, 2025

Reform MP Rupert Lowe also posted:

Race or religion must make NO difference in an individual's sentencing. ALL must be treated equally under the law, that includes white British men.

Labour are taking us down a very dark, and a very dangerous path.

I have deep fears over what is happening to our country.

-- Rupert Lowe, March 5, 2025

Broadcaster and Journalist Darren Grimes recently posted an update on the new sentencing guidelines:

NEW: Labour Say They’ll Drop Racist Two Tier Sentencing

Shabana Mahmood now says she’s against sentencing based on race.

Funny, because a representative from her own department was present when it was announced.

There were no objections until the public noticed.

Jenrick is right to call this out — and Labour only act when they realise we’re watching.

-- Darren Grimes, March 5, 2025

Former Prime Minister, Liz Truss, has also voiced her opposition to the new sentencing guidelines:

The Sentencing Council is yet another terrible invention of the Blair Labour Government along with the Supreme Court, that has ruined our justice system.

ALL these bodies need to go.

Everybody should be equal before the law.

No more two tier justice.

-- Liz Truss, March 5, 2025
