Reports today are suggesting that the chair of Islington North constituency Labour Party, Alison McGarry, has resigned from the party after being caught actively campaigning for Jeremy Corbyn.
Allegedly, Labour members saw Ms McGarry asking local residents to support former Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, who is currently standing as an independent candidate.
The local Labour candidate is councillor Praful Nargund.
A recent poll suggests that Labour are slightly ahead with Nargund on 41 percent, and Corbyn on 36 percent of the vote in Islington North.
It is also alleged that Ms McGarry attempted to "hide in a bush" after being spotted.
