Pre-election Labour promised us £300 of savings on our energy bills.
It never materialised, and energy bills continue to rise.
It was no surprise today that Ed Miliband has declared that energy bills are to RISE AGAIN!

Energy bills are set to rise again due to a spike in global gas markets, with wholesale gas prices up 15% since the last energy price cap was announced.
This will put up energy bills because of our reliance on global fossil fuel markets controlled by petrostates and dictators.
This government is determined to get us out of the grip of global fossil fuel markets and bring energy security to our country.
Through our mission for clean power, we will build the homegrown renewables and nuclear power we need to protect families and create jobs.
I have today written to Ofgem urging them to use their powers to the maximum to protect consumers, and agreeing key areas where they will intensify efforts, from back billing to standing charges.
With every solar panel we put up, every wind turbine we construct, every piece of clean energy infrastructure we build, we make our country more secure and do more to protect families.
That is why our mission is so urgent - to take back control with homegrown clean energy.
