Keir Starmer is taking credit for a new Universal Studios theme park in Bedford - plans have been in place since 2023!
Universal Studios announced in December 2023 that they would "work closely" with communities in Bedford after it revealed plans to open its first ever theme park in the UK.
The Universal Studio announcement comes as the theme park giant purchased 480 acres of land at Kempston Hardwick.
In June 2024 Universal said a Hollywood theme park it plans to build in Bedfordshire, England, will be open 365 days a year and will boost the UK economy by nearly £50bn.
