Labour MP Mary Foy has referred herself to Parliament's standards watchdog after lobbying on behalf of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) in Parliament, introducing two Early Day Motions—one in November 2022 about firefighters' pay increases and another in November 2023 about protecting them from toxic contaminants.
Reports indicate that Foy also accepted a £2,000 donation from the FBU in August 2024 and has an FBU employee listed as staff, granting them a parliamentary security pass.
Foy failed to declare her relationship with Wrack in the MPs' register of interests, prompting her to refer herself to Parliament's standards watchdog for investigation.
