Angela Rayner faced some tough questions on the Laura Kuenssberg show this morning.
Laura Kuenssberg asked: "Did you refer to a member of the royal family as something I'm not sure we're allowed to say on a Sunday morning?"
Laura Kuenssberg continued: "Do you deny that you called a member of the Royal Family a nonce?"
Angela Rayner replied: "Again, I'm not making any comments about what was said or not said by somebody in a book. I'm not making any comment on what somebody suggests was said in a book or actually the private conversations that I did have during the passage of the bill, which did get passed."
Laura Kuenssberg asked again: "But you're not denying it?"
No denial was given.
Laura Kuenssberg posted to X with the statement:
And what about calling Prince Andrew a less than flattering word you might not want to say on morning telly? She didn't deny it.
