Easy Jet plans to cut domestic flights following the Government’s move to increase air passenger duty.
Kenton Jarvis, Easy Jet's finance chief, said services linking London airports with Scotland and Northern Ireland would be worst hit.
Mr Jarvis said that easyJet would take a £13m annual hit from the Government’s rise in National Insurance contributions for employers, but the decision to increase air passenger duty would be more damaging.
