Last week, during an interview with Good Morning Scotland, Keir Starmer said Great British Energy would be an "Investment Vehicle, not an energy company".
On the ITV Leader's debate on Tuesday 4th June Keir Starmer said: "I want to set up Great British Energy. This is a publically owned company that will generate energy, that will have investment alongside it. It'll be owned by the tax payer, making money for the tax payer."
Starmer confirms GB Energy isn’t an energy company but an investment arm for private sector & will not:

1) produce energy
2) sell energy
3) own any energy infrastructure
And no explanation as to how it reduces bills.
Scotland’s energy should be in Scotland’s hands.#VoteSNP pic.twitter.com/XGg9WBSKZY
Hang on - last week Starmer was forced to admit GB Energy wouldn’t generate any energy.
