There have been several calls for Reform UK Councillor Darren Grimes to resign, or be sacked, from his position as Deputy Leader of Durham County Council due to the perceived insensitivity of a post he made earlier today.

Some have tagged @DurhamCouncil, urging the council to take action against Grimes for his comments.
Critics have suggested the tweet reflects poorly on Reform UK's stance on serious issues, prompting demands for his resignation.
