Chelmsford has a Liberal Democrat MP for the first time ever, with Marie Goldman securing over 20,000 votes!
The Reform UK candidate for Chelmsford, Darren Ingrouille, didn't seem to enjoy the same success as other Reform UK Candidates.
Mr Ingrouille had received some negative feedback after posts he had made on X, formerly Twitter, came under the spotlight. The Times also published an article which was critical of Mr Ingrouille.
An article in Essex News Live also suggests that Mr Ingrouille didn't attend the count in Chelmsford.
