The Rt Hon Mr Alistair Carmichael is the Liberal Democrat MP for Orkney and Shetland, and has been an MP continuously since 7 June 2001. He currently undertakes the roles of Liberal Democrat Spokesperson (Home Affairs), Liberal Democrat Spokesperson (Northern Ireland), and Liberal Democrat Spokesperson (Justice).

From 10 November 2021, farmland including farm buildings and one dwelling house let as holiday accommodation, on Islay, Argyll. All managed through Coillabus Farms, with any income being paid to my parents: (i) and (ii).

From 24 October 2021, a partner in Coillabus Farms, a firm which manages two farms and the letting of self-catering holiday accommodation on Islay.
