The Rt Hon Angela Rayner is the Labour MP for Ashton-under-Lyne, and has been an MP continuously since 7 May 2015. She currently undertakes the roles of Shadow Minister for the Cabinet Office and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Shadow Secretary of State for the Future of Work, and Deputy Leader of the Official Opposition. In addition, she is Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.
